The CONCERT Sept. 8, 2019 In Chemainus, called "Eight Hands at 88 Keys" was so much fun! We had a sell-out crowd. I also participated in the October 20th harp, cello and piano concert, another sell-out. You can find photos of both concerts below! Now the four of us are planning a follow-up concert April 24, 2022, called "Hand in Hand."
The CANADA MUSIC WEEK CONCERTS November 23, 2019, were are great success. Cowichan Valley music students shared Music by Canadian composers with an enthusiastic audience. This event is biannual - watch for the next one in November, 2021.

CHEMAINUS CLASSICAL CONCERTS Recital Series - one concert each month, October through June, Sunday at 2 pm, St. Michael's Church, Chemainus. Enjoy live concerts by master musicians. VICTORIA SYMPHONY CONCERTS are temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, but we hope restrictions will soon be lifted.
COWICHAN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019- Two of my advanced students won awards and were asked to play at the Highlights concert and were sent on to Provincials in late May: Jizelle B. as Senior Representative in Piano, James Hodson as Intermediate Representative in Piano. Sadie and Josiah Wood played in the Gala Concert and received "Outstanding Intermediate Student" and "Best Canadian Piece," respectively. Congratulations to all! (Due to illness, there was no piano section in the Cowichan Music Festival 2020, and the entire Festival was cancelled in 2021.)
COWICHAN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2022- Watch for the dates for the piano competition and Gala and Highlights concerts.

Our CHRISTMAS RECITAL , December 2020, was a recorded, online event! We managed to make a lovely program in spite of all the challenges. NEXT RECITAL: Open Air! June 16, 2021, 6:30 pm, outside my studio! Bring your lawn chair and umbrella. (Date is weather-dependent: watch for possible postponement.)
